MARTINEDOUCETPHOTO

Martine Doucet was born to communicate.  She started her professional career in research before graduating to hosting radio and TV shows and as a cultural reporter. It was then she realized she had a passion for photography! Growing up, she always carried a camera wherever she went but it was only around 2000 she decided to launch her professional career as a photographer. Martine created her own TV show (Portrait de famille) on TV5 where she was doubling as host and photographer. Since then, she has worked on different televisual projects and with many magazines. She can be heard on different radio stations, including the French CBC radio network show « La tête ailleurs » on the segment « Derrière l’image » where she tells the stories behind famous pictures. In October 2007, her first book « É loges » was published by Les Éditions du Passage. It features behind the scene pictures of famous Quebec actresses and a selection of those pictures was recently exposed at the Georges-Émile-Lapalme gallery at La Place des Arts in Montreal. Martine has been an exclusive contributor on iStock and Getty since 2008 and she also gives conferences on the subject of photography at Marsan College.
